The LQ510 is the sanitary version of the LQ500 and utilizes the same operational principles. The LQ510 is a 3A approved device for use in sanitary applications such as food, pharmaceutical etc. All wetted parts are constructed with 316 Stainless Steel and the unit is design to meet CIP and SIP requirements, depending upon the conditions, and is available to meet HACCP system requirements. Process connections are made via ISO2852 clamp (IDF clamp) or Tri-Clamp® connections.

Toshiba’s Microwave Density (consistency) analyzer series, utilizes the principle of microwave phase difference measurement to determine the density (consistency) of process fluids flowing through the spool style detector. This exploits the way a fluids density (consistency) affects the propagation of microwaves as they pass through the fluid. This provides the reliable measurement of a fluid’s density (consistency) by monitoring the microwave phase between the original wave and the one that passed through the measured fluid. This method provides excellent measurement precision exhibiting very high repeatability and reliability with minimal maintenance.

Toshiba's LQ300 Microwave Density Meter uses a new principle, microwave phase difference measurement, to determine the density of fluids flowing through pipes. This exploits the way a fluid's density affects the propagation of microwaves when they pass through it. This allows the reliable measurement of the fluid's density by monitoring the difference in microwave phase between the original wave and one passed through the measured fluid. Unlike the method that depends on monitoring the attenuation of a transmitted wave, measuring fluid density by observing a wave's phase difference is unaffected by flow velocity and/or is not affected by the contamination and/or bubbles
